Pastoral and Spiritual Care

The aim of pastoral care is to ensure that the school is primarily a caring community. The Principal and Deputy Principal are committed to supporting all those involved in the pastoral care system.

Spiritual Development

Students at Duiske College receive Religious Education as part of the curriculum. The School Chaplain works in conjunction with the Religious Teachers to cater for the spiritual development as part of the overall holistic educational experience of our students.

Retreats, masses and other religious ceremonies are an integral part of our school calendar. These take place both at Duiske College and in the historical and inspiring Duiske Abbey, adjacent to our school.

Our Leaving Certificate Graduation Mass, Christmas Carol Service and Opening of Year Mass are particularly memorable occasions, which add greatly to school life.
