Information Technology

All students are offered computer classes throughout the school year. Information Technology is used throughout the teaching and learning process, which reinforces understanding and computer skills.  We are currently using tablets in Maths and English, with a view to expanding their use in all classrooms.

We are proud to have two computer labs in Duiske College, which contain a client / server network, scanners, printers, data projectors and suitably filtered internet access. Broadband is available in each classroom and teachers use laptops, data projectors and white boards across all subjects.

Code of Behaviour

Duiske College prides itself on the quality of relationships between students and staff. Within this context Duiske College’s first instinct is to praise and reward students who reach the positive behaviour standards we wish for.

An important part of the school’s Code of Behaviour is the effort made to acknowledge the good behaviour of our students Primarily, the individual teacher praises and affirms good behaviour and constantly liaises with Class Teachers, School Management and the Student Support Team to appropriately reward and highlight incidents of good behaviour.
