It is a non-selective, co-educational school, which aims to promote the total development of each student. Duiske College’s comprehensive programme of instruction in languages, sciences and the humanities equips our students to meet the challenges of the modern world. In addition, career guidance and counselling services are available. There is an active Parents Association, Green Schools Committee and Student Council. A book rental scheme is available and annual Gaeltacht and French scholarships are offered.
Students study for QQI level 3 certificates in Computer Literacy, Digital Photography,Word Processing and Career Preparation.
Duiske College has a number of general purpose classrooms as well as a full range of facilities.
These include a library, combined Science and Chemistry laboratory including a Preparation room, Business Studies Room, two fully networked Computer Rooms, Technical Drawing Room, Wood Technology and Construction Studies Room including ancilliary sanding, painting and storage rooms, Art Block including pottery room and studio, Home Economics Room and Resource Room.
Outdoor facilities include a full sized AstroTurf pitch adjacent to the school.
